Save your journey in an odd way!

I'm a Hero appointed by the king! Before I embark on the journey, a guy suddenly comes to tell me that I have to be kissed by him to save the data of the adventure. I can't believe it! As a straight man, I have to ask, "Why must we save the data this way?!"
